I am not a performer, as such, I do not play live gigs. I am a songwriter whose goal is to have my material recorded by other artists. 30 years ago I had some of my hymns published by Folk Mass and Modern Liturgy Magazine, an outfit in California, which still exists albeit not in the same form or commitment because at that time I wanted to create songs for "church", to be sung in "church" and for them to be one of the reasons people came to church outside of the more obvious ones! Then I tried to get them published by "church" publishers and found out they were only interested in the catalogs they already owned and/or creating 'new artists' whom they would then add to their catalog of publihed material. A monopoly of sorts with little interest it would seem in "the music". Then I decided to go the other way. Maybe my songs were good enough for country artists. After sending out many discs Abbey Road Music contacted me. Abbey Road has now joined forces with the newly formed Vision [...]
