The Imaginaries are a lo-fi indie-rock band formed in Toronto in early 2007 by songwriter Jackson Fishauf. The band's output is prolific. As of December 2008, they have recorded 7 full albums, 5 EPs, 2 singles, and 2 live albums. Music influences include artists such as Bob Dylan, Velvet Underground, Pavement, Talking Heads, Silver Jews, Rolling Stones, The Kinks, and early Weezer.
