I am an older dude who has been writing music for maybe thirty-five years now (a whale of a long time). I play trumpet and synthesizer (piano, organ etc), and guitar. Some of my songs are vocals pieces sung by a couple of local artists from Flint, Michigan. My music styles are easy listening types [of] jazz, pop, rock. Instrumental pieces include Latin rhythms (my favorite), among others. Herb Alpert was an early influence as well as songwriters Burt Bacharach, Henry Mancini, Van Morrison, and many others. I am 'old school' and clean-cut to the bone. I love and can create interesting arrangements of Classical music favorites. I consider my music (and so do many listeners) to be a breath of fresh air and both entertaining, nostalgic, and sometimes even beautiful.
