topic universe is an interest tracking and recommendation system with a number of extra features. an interest is represented as a topic in one of the system's categories, those include movies, tv shows, music artists, and others. all categories can be accessed through the 'categories' link in the top menu bar. to create new topics and mark topics you're interested in, you need to have a registered user account. there's a simple registration form on the login page, which you can get to by following the 'login' link on the top menu bar. once you're registered and logged in, you can search for existing topics using the topic search box marked with 'find topic' on the top right. if a topic you're interested in doesn't exist you can easily create it by using the 'create new topic' link on the main page. you'll be asked to pick an interest in the new topic (an interest of 0 is valid) and a category to create the topic in. don't be afraid of making mistakes, i can easily fix anything that comes up. if you have any questions about topic universe, the Q&A link on the top menu bar takes you to the Q&A page, where a number of questions are already answered, or you can also post your own. i'll do my best to answer any new questions as fast as i can.
